App normalises illegal teen vaping

Content shared on social media platforms is contributing to the normalisation of illegal vaping among young people, according to the University of East Anglia. It found that TikTok often portrays illegal vaping as humorous, harmless and socially acceptable, in contrast to the cautious messaging typically found on official health and education websites.
