FDA: psychedelic-drug trial guide

The Food and Drug Administration released guidance outlining recommendations for companies developing psychedelic drugs to ‘treat’ medical conditions including substance use disorders. The guidance addresses chemistry, manufacturing, nonclinical testing, abuse potential and clinical trial design. It also recommended that psychological support/ psychotherapy outcomes be measured separately.
