100,000 people to get hep C cure

About 10,000 people with hepatitis C in England are current or recent injectors of illicit drugs; a larger share have a past history of injecting. Now England is set to eliminate hepatitis C as NHS England announced 100,000 people receive treatment to cure deadly hep C virus on NHS in 10 years. Last April, the UK Security Agency stated that hepatitis C infections in people who inject drugs fell.
