Dozens of people have filed lawsuits in the US against GLP-1 companies, which make popular weight-loss drugs like Ozempic and Mounjaro, also touted to reduce addiction cravings, claiming they caused a rare condition that can cause permanent vision loss, US media outlets reported. The lawsuits asserted that the drugs cause nonarteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy.
