University College London shared Alcohol consumption and health-related economic inactivity among working-age adults in England: A population study, 2014-2025 showing a surprise finding: economic inactivity due to long-term illness and disability among working-age adults more than doubled in non- and low-risk drinkers while remaining stable or falling in higher-risk drinkers.
