£4.4billion for homelessness: include alcohol

The government’s extra funding to tackle rough sleeping is welcome news but to have the greatest impact it must reach everyone in need, including those with alcohol dependence, Alcohol Change UK blogged. There are an estimated 650,000 people who are alcohol dependent in England and Wales, of which about 70,000 are homeless or at immediate risk of it.
