China pushing for ketamine scheduling

Ahead of Commission on Narcotic Drugs meeting in March, China proposed placing the drug in Schedule I of the 1971 UN Convention on Psychotropic Substances. Ketamine is the most widely abused non-controlled substance in Asia, creating major political and health problems.
