Dr Kieran Moriarty, who has helped thousands with alcohol-related issues, retires

Next month, the consultant physician and gastroenterologist retires from the Royal Bolton Hospital after a working lifetime spent helping thousands of people with alcohol problems gain help and regain self-respect.
