Premier League football clubs should do more to help tackle gambling addiction, Simon Stevens said, describing gambling addiction as one of the “new threats” facing the NHS. Gamble Aware charity said the relationship between sport and gambling had “reached a tipping point”. The Premier League declined to comment.
