‘A Star Is Born’: Bradley Cooper talks addiction & the film’s ending

The leading star (with Lady Gaga) talked about how addicted Maine’s tragic ending was hinted at in the beginning. “When we meet him, he’s close to the edge, and he never had a support group his whole life,” he explained, adding that he wanted anyone who has gone through the world of addiction to believe what’s on screen – and encourage them into recovery.
