Will funding for treatment of alcohol misuse increase?

Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Health and Social Care Steve Brine replied to a question on alcohol treatment funding: “The Government has made available £1billion for public health services, including alcohol treatment services, over the current Spending Review period. Decisions on funding for services to treat alcohol misuse are the responsibility of local authorities“.
