Cannabis addiction influenced by genetic makeup

A University College London-led investigation (with University of Bath) of 3 genetic markers, to be published in Addiction Biology, could inform why some people become dependent on cannabis. They say that it’s easy to test for these genetic variants, but more research is needed to optimise that.
