Ohio jury: precedent-setting opioid suit

A jury in Ohio ruled this week that 3 major pharmaceutical chains – CVS, Walmart and Walgreens – bore responsibility for the opioid epidemic in 2 Ohio counties. The civil case, brought in federal court, marks the 1st time pharmacies were found responsible in the US epidemic.
