Alcohol-use disorder deaths before and during Covid curbs

Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and Xi’an Jiaotong University used projective modeling to evaluate AUD-related mortality rates in the US 2012 -2021 – and found that AUD-related mortality rates rose 24.79% in 2020 and 21.95% in 2021 vs the projected rates.
