Sweden: link between OCD and substance misuse

This University of Helsinki et al Swedish-cohort study of 6 ,304, 188 people from the general population and 9,230 people in a twin cohort found that those with an obsessive compulsive disorder diagnosis had a 3.7-fold higher risk of substance misuse. The link was partly attributed to shared genetics.
