Biden pardons simple marijuana possession charges

Yesterday, President Joe Biden pardoned “all current US citizens and lawful permanent residents who committed the offense of simple possession of marijuana in violation of the Controlled Substances Act”, proving it’s not necessary to legalize this Big Tobacco-backed industry to do so. There are only about 200 people in federal prison on such charges.
