MP calls for more support for children with alcoholic parents

Liam Byrne wants the government to “break the cycle of alcoholism” and stop it being passed on to 2.5million children living with a parent who drinks – as All Party Parliamentary Group on Children of Alcoholics finds that not one council offers specific help for the “innocent victims” of booze.
