Ireland: headshop drug treatments fell 50% after ban in 2010

The 1st national study on the impact of the laws found that average treatment rates for new psychoactive substances (NPS) fell by almost 50% in the 2 years after laws were introduced in 2010. The study was carried out by the Department of Public Health at Trinity College Dublin, the Health Research Board and the School of Medicine at University College Dublin.
