“No liberalisation”: Russian Parliament discusses drug policy

Deputies from 43 countries, supported by UNODC, discussed drug policy in Russia’s Parliament, deciding to work on unified legislation to push against liberalisation of drug policy: “We need to avoid situations when one country can create difficulties and problems in neighbouring states by changing its legislation. It primarily concerns the liberalisation and legalisation of so called ‘light drugs’.”
