Traffickers using drugs to force people into slavery

Human traffickers in the UK are increasingly using drugs and alcohol to force vulnerable UK men and women into slave labour and sexual exploitation, according to the Salvation Army whose figures show a doubling this year of them coming into its statutory support services after being identified as victims of slavery by the government.
