Why the LGBT community faces higher rates of addiction

According to statistics from the National Survey on Drug Use and Health, individuals who identify as  lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender are more than twice as likely as heterosexual adults to have used illegal substances in the last year. The Stonewall Institute explains.
