Popular children to be recruited as anti-drug ‘influencers’

“Frank Friends”, funded by the government-backed National Institute for Health Research, will run across 48 schools from September and involve 5,600 students aged 13-14. Students nominated in the top 17.5% as most influential will be asked to be peer supporters. The 3-year study will be run by Cardiff University.
