School exclusions for drugs & alcohol rise 57% in 5 years

Criminal groups recruiting youngsters to ferry drugs round the UK has led to a steep rise in teens convicted & prosecuted for intent to supply drugs, according to Department for Education figures – the number of children permanently excluded from secondary schools due to drugs or alcohol is the highest on record.
