Cannabis can affect teenagers so severely they end up 3 years behind classmates

An investigation by Montreal University of 4,000 Canadian school children found cannabis was more toxic for youngsters’ brains than alcohol. Persistent use of cannabis seriously affected basic reasoning skills and had a “disastrous” effect on self-control.
