Drug agency calls for strong warning labels on popular sleep aids

The FDA announced yesterday that it would require manufacturers of sleeping pills such as Ambien to post strongly worded warnings on labels and patient guides. It singled out Ambien, Lunesta, Sonata and 3 formulations of zolpidem.
