Alcohol and drug use disorders in patients with cancer and caregivers

The Department of Palliative Medicine at Royal Surrey County Hospital found that 5% of cancer patients and 8% of caregivers screened positively for alcohol use disorders on AUDIT, 6% and 3% respectively screened positively for drug abuse on DAST-10. It’s a lower score than expected.
