HHS awards $1.6billion in grants to address opioid crisis

The US Department of Health and Human Services is awarding over $1.6billion to address the addiction and overdose crisis. Grants will be awarded through 4 vehicles: SAMHSA’s State Opioid Response and Tribal Opioid Response, SOR/TOR technical assistance and HRSA’s Rural Communities Opioid Response Programs.
