Response to ACMD: controlled drugs from podiatrists

The Minister of State for Crime, Policing and Fire agrees with ACMD advice on the interim podiatrists supply proposal from NHS England about potential for misuse with long-term use of co-codamol, codeine phosphate and co-dydramol products, and will restrict the duration of supply to 3 days maximum as recommended by the Royal College of Podiatry.
