Germany: more alcohol deaths during Covid

Germany’s overall alcohol-specific mortality rate mainly fell 2010-2020 – but rose in the year 2020 compared to 2019 for both, women (+4.8%) and men (+5.5%), particularly in age groups 40-69 years.
