HM Treasury: Autumn Statement 2022

The government reversed almost all measures in the Growth Plan 2022. The Autumn Statement sets out further steps on taxation and spending – there is no change for now on alcohol and cigarette duty but that could change next year with wine and spirit drinkers facing the biggest tax rise on alcohol since the duty started in 1643.
