Over 3million youth reported using tobacco in 2022

A joint FDA and CDC study found that 3.08million (11.3%) US middle and high school students reported past-30-day use of any tobacco product in 2022. The greatest percentage was by students with low academic achievement, outstripping severe psychological distress, LGBT or transgender populations [although these can overlap].
