Will $billions from opioid lawsuits help addiction recovery?

Walmart proposed a $3.1billion legal settlement, less than 2 weeks after CVS Health and Walgreen said they would pay about $5billion each. They follow drug makers and drug distribution companies which already reached settlements totalling about $50billion. Dr Aalta DeRoo of Hazelden Betty Ford has been watching these settlements closely.
