Thailand: 1st country in Asia to legalise cannabis

In June 2022, Thailand legalized cannabis – but many citizens are calling for marijuana to be readded to the narcotics list until concrete consumption and trade laws are enacted. Already the government has issued warnings to increasing drug tourists and outlawed its sale to anyone breastfeeding, pregnant or under 20 years of age. Public use is also banned.
