Tougher penalties for “terrifying” monkey dust drug?

Synthetic cathinones, also known as MDPV or ‘monkey dust’, can cause euphoria and hallucinations. The drug can make users paranoid and impervious to pain while feeling they have super-human strength, leading them to injure themselves. Now Home Office ministers have asked official advisers to look into if the Class B drug should be moved to Class A.
