2million on antidepressants for 5 years or more

Over 8million people in England are on antidepressants – that’s 1million more people than 5 years previously, NHS prescribing figures show. The new figures on long-term antidepressant use 2018-2022 were provided to BBC Panorama by the NHS, following a Freedom of Information request.
