FDA releases 1st draft guidance on psychedelic clinical trials

Last Friday, the US Food and Drug Administration released a new draft guidance aimed at researchers exploring psychedelic drugs for potential medical treatments. Given that psychedelic drugs can induce psychoactive effects and hallucinations, there is a need for safety measures to prevent misuse during clinical development.
