Government cut funding for children of alcoholics

Reminder: the Department of Health and Social Care and Department for Work and Pensions encouraged local authorities to divert funding from the Drug Strategy to support the children of alcohol dependent parents. The government cut the short-lived £6million package that supported these children, so there is no dedicated funding or support.
