New York launches addiction studies scholarship

3 colleges in New York state are receiving money as part of the launch of a scholarship program to encourage students to study addiction services, governor Kathy Hochul’s office on announced yesterday. The money, almost $3 million, will go to students pursuing a bachelor’s degree in addiction studies or education requirements for New York’s Oasas.
