New Zealand government: “panic over teen vaping shows it hasn’t learned from other addictive substances”

Labour’s plan to tackle youth vaping has managed to disappoint both anti-smoking and anti-vaping groups, RNZ reported. Teen smoking rates have dropped over the past 20 years with daily use falling to just 1.1%in 2022 – but vaping has gone from non-existent in the early 2010s to 10.1% last year.
