21%: Marijuana addiction in Washington State, 1st state to make it legal for recreation

A recent analysis of 108,950 primary care patients at Kaiser Permanente in Washington state found that addiction was common among patients who used marijuana. “Marijuana has been legal for recreational use since 2012 and 10 years is a short amount of time to see such high addiction numbers,” Science 2.0 commented.
