E-cig and alcohol’s joint assault on the blood-brain barrier

E-cigarette use is linked to increased alcohol use, as well as the use of other drugs. Now the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University hopes to cast light on the impact of combined alcohol and e-cigarette use on the blood brain barrier which regulates the passage of substances into the sensitive tissues of the central nervous system.
