US Senator Pete Ricketts led senators vowing to oppose the Safer Banking Act if it advances to the Senate Floor for a vote. The senators expressed concerns about how the Act would facilitate money laundering for drug cartels as well as investments in the industry that could lead to even higher THC potency in marijuana products.
