Sunak: Drug consumption rooms won’t work to tackle addiction

Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said: “We respect the independence of the advocate general in Scotland whilst… we disagree with drug consumption rooms elsewhere because we think they condone illegal drug use”. Asked if he believes DCRs will help address drug addiction, he added: “We don’t, and we think they condone illegal use”.
