Abbeycare Foundation analysed Office of National Statistics data to discover the number of deaths from drug poisoning per 1,000,000 people in 2021 – and found that 3 out of 5 of the greatest killers are legal. Cocaine caused the most drug poisonings, followed by antidepressants, diazepines, new psychoactive substances and paracetamol. But where are the methadone deaths…?
