Gambling at an early age is associated with a greater risk of developing addictive behaviors such as problem gambling and alcohol dependence later in life. The Wager reviews a study by Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare et al that examined trends in the relationship between adolescent gambling and alcohol use between genders.
