Drug and alcohol treatment funding for local authorities

Yesterday, DB News shared the government announcement of £267million to boost local drug and alcohol treatment. Public Sector Executive has responded that it will help “councils to recruit staff more specialised in drug and alcohol support and give further support to prison leavers”. More drug and alcohol treatment will also “deliver crime reduction”.
