HHS overhauls sharing of addiction treatment records

After delays of almost 2 years, the US Department of Health & Human Services, through the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration and the Office for Civil Rights, promulgated a Final Rule modifying the Confidentiality of Substance Use Disorder Patient Records (in 42 CFR Part 2).
