Ultra-processed foods are “addictive in the same way as cocaine”

Speaking at the House of Lords select committee on food, diet and obesity, Dr Chris van Tulleken accused the mass-produced food industry of acting in a similar way to big tobacco by selling addictive products which could be harmful, the Daily Mail reported.
