Drug sensors detect cocaine, heroin, fentanyl

North Carolina State University developed a new generation of DNA aptamers and highly accurate drug sensors for cocaine and other opioids. The sensors can detect trace amounts of fentanyl, heroin and cocaine, even when mixed with other substances.
