Author on alcohol wanted

Missouri Medicine is a 120 year old, peer-reviewed medical journal, ranked among the top 5 state medical journals in the US. It seeks a qualified, motivated author(s) to write an update on alcoholism, best figures and trends, and how the increasing use of other drugs including vaping have affected alcohol rates. Missouri Medicine is a 120 year old, peer-reviewed medical journal owned by the non-profit Missouri State Medical Association. Our journal is ranked among the top 5 state medical journals in the US. We are indexed by all the world’s leading services: MEDLINE, PubMed, ProQuest, Scopus, EBSCO Research Data Bank and archived at PubMed Central.

We are looking for qualified, motivated author(s) to write an update on alcoholism, best figures and trends, a discussion about how the increasing use of cannabis and widespread us of drugs like fentanyl, cocaine, meth, etc  and vaping have affected alcohol rates.

 Length would be about 2500-3000 words, 40 or fewer references, no more than 5-6 tables, figures, photos, graphs, etc. We would be looking to receive either Jan 25 or March 25
